What ticker symbols to look out for depending on your personal ethics. and passions

Below are some individual stocks that have some of our favorite ESG values. Please note, this is not advice, and we are not recommending that you invest in any of these companies. We are only showcasing some of the values that these companies have. In addition to the list below, we’ve included links to recent reports that highlight these areas in more detail.

Women in Leadership:
  • Bumble Inc. (BMBL): Bumble is a social networking company that has a mission to empower women and prioritize gender equity. The company's founder and CEO is a woman, and the company has committed to having women make up at least 50% of its leadership teams.
  • Procter & Gamble Co. (PG): Procter & Gamble is a consumer goods company that has a strong commitment to gender diversity and advancing women in leadership. The company has a goal to achieve gender balance in management and professional roles and has implemented several initiatives to support women's advancement.
  • PepsiCo, Inc. (PEP): PepsiCo is a food and beverage company that has a strong commitment to gender diversity and advancing women in leadership. The company has a goal to have women make up at least 50% of its management workforce and has implemented several initiatives to support women's advancement.
  • Microsoft Corporation (MSFT): Microsoft is a technology company that has made significant commitments to gender diversity and advancing women in leadership. The company has a goal to increase the percentage of women in leadership roles and has implemented several initiatives to support women's advancement, including mentorship programs and leadership development programs.
  • General Motors Co. (GM): General Motors is an automotive company that has made significant commitments to gender diversity and advancing women in leadership. The company has a goal to achieve gender parity in its workforce and has implemented several initiatives to support women's advancement, including employee resource groups and leadership development programs.

Anti Racism:
  • Target Corporation (TGT): Target has taken a strong stance against racism and discrimination and has implemented several initiatives to promote diversity and inclusion within the company. In 2020, Target pledged to increase representation of Black employees by 20% over the next three years and committed to spending more than $2 billion with Black-owned businesses by 2025.
  • Coca-Cola Company (KO): Coca-Cola has taken a strong public stance against racism and discrimination and has implemented several initiatives to promote diversity and inclusion. The company has established a Global Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) Office to oversee its efforts and has committed to investing $500 million over the next five years to support DEI initiatives.
  • Bank of America Corporation (BAC): Bank of America has taken several steps to address racial inequality and promote diversity and inclusion within the company. The company has committed to investing $1 billion over the next four years to support economic opportunity initiatives for people and communities of color.
  • Netflix Inc. (NFLX): Netflix has taken a strong public stance against racism and discrimination and has implemented several initiatives to promote diversity and inclusion within the company. The company has committed to spending $100 million over five years to support Black-owned banks and other financial institutions.
  • JPMorgan Chase & Co. (JPM): JPMorgan Chase has taken several steps to address racial inequality and promote diversity and inclusion within the company. The company has committed to investing $30 billion over the next five years to support racial equity initiatives, including expanding homeownership for Black and Latino families and investing in small businesses in underserved communities.

LGBTQ+

  • Microsoft Corporation (MSFT): Microsoft is a technology company that has made significant commitments to sustainability and carbon neutrality. The company has set a goal to be carbon negative by 2030 and to remove all the carbon the company has emitted since its founding by 2050.
  • Unilever PLC (UL): Unilever is a consumer goods company that has a strong focus on sustainability and social responsibility. The company has set ambitious targets to reduce its environmental impact, improve the livelihoods of millions of people, and promote gender equality and inclusion.
  • Procter & Gamble Co. (PG): Procter & Gamble is another consumer goods company that has a strong focus on sustainability and ESG values. The company has set a goal to achieve zero waste to landfill from its manufacturing facilities and to reduce its greenhouse gas emissions by 50% by 2030.
